andys says My first question when I got
there was how long do I have? They said
"We're not gonna kill you, we're gonna
kill Opal." I said, "Great" I didn't
know Dale at the time so I thought that
was fine. Later they decided not to kill
her either & I was disappointed because
I thought that there would be more
storylines for me as a single parent,
but after I got to know Dale, I was
glad she lived.

but is was so well done that the adjustment

andys says They haven't changed much
except the hair's a little longer.

andys says All over until I was 10, then
I settled in Kentucky... on a farm.

wonderful job with their respective characters
andys says Marilyn, thanks. I feel that way too, though I
think the Canadians did a great job and Lauren is something special.
Marilyn says Lauren is just beginning her career

in Return to Cutter Gap with the plane repairs
and the plane rides. Was that movie as much fun
for you as it looked?
andys says The plane scene was special for me
too, I wish we could have lifted off the ground...
but taxiing down the runway was pretty good.
debra s. says Andy, do you have a scene that was
hardest for you and can you tell us anything
about it?
andys says I did a little thing with a phone
that was fun to do, talking to the preacher.

phone... probably the first time Tom's ever
done that. I didn't quite know how to hold the

andys says I didn't decide until after college,
I was a musician and visual artist prior to
that, got bitten by the bug late.

andys says I played 10 years in night clubs,
bass and vocal... country and rock and roll.

Amber says I am listening to a great mountain
music CD right now
andys says Go to the Station Inn on Tuesday
nights in Nashville, you'll hear the best
Bluegrass.

a Time to Kill. Was that emotional to film?
andys says As you know I sat in the jury for
3 weeks, watched Kevin Spacey and Matthew C act, along
with many other great ones. debra s. says Andy, had you seen the final
cut of the RTCG before it aired? Do your kids like Christy? andys says
We saw the close to final cut at the wrap party. We rented Planet
Hollywood and had a big time.

June K says For me, it's the dedication of Christy to the
families of the Gap, and the families themselves gap says I think it's
the love you all had in making the series. It showed in the final

faiths as well Amber says the romance, scenery, religion, the other all
"feel" of the show. Very heartwarming highland_lass says Christy reminds

reunited with some of the old cast?

andys says The reunion of cast was fabulous.
I got even closer to them the second time around,
but made some new friends as well. I miss some
of the old ones that weren't there, but I met
some new ones, I wish we could all be there.
Ganymede says I miss the old cast...
andys says The old cast was one of the finest
ensembles in television.. I think. I can say
that because I sat and watched them a lot. I
know it sounds fencing, but I've got to tell
you I saw stuff in Vancouver that knocked me
out as well, Lauren, Ingrid, James I'm thrilled
with.. and of course Diane.. BC was an inspiration
as well

andys says I played Ellen Burstyn's husband and did
another movie with her as well.

old Christy episodes at CF last year.
